Tom Kuehn, Inventor

Thomas is a former public school district administrator in the state of Washington, who began his public school career as a carpenter’s helper.   He worked his way up through the ranks to become the Director of Maintenance and Operations for the Olympia School District. For many years Thomas served on the board of the Washington Association of Maintenance & Operations Administrators (WAMOA) and became president of the organization in 2005. After leaving public school service, Thomas worked for the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) in Washington as the program manager of the Department of School Facilities and Organization. He ended his school career as the interim Associate Vice President, Facilities Management, for Pacific Lutheran University.

Thomas, is an inventor and the holder of two patents, School Safe and ‘Take A Seat’, Global Innovations was founded to market his products and to provide an outlet for the creativity of others. It is GIC’s desire to help others to release their creativity and thereby make their lives richer, safer and more fulfilled.

In his spare time, Thomas also facilitated personal and corporate growth seminars for over a dozen years while working for The Pacific Institute. He lives in Southern Nevada.
